Steven Kunselman is a PGA Instructor with 20 years at the lesson tee, blending collegiate pedigree, mini-tour grit, and cutting-edge biomechanics to unlock effortless power for every golfer.
A former NCAA Division I standout at Portland State University, Steve turned professional in 1998, competing for five seasons across mini-tours before a memorable tilt at European Tour Q-School in Oxfordshire (2006). That competitive fire soon channelled into coaching: first in central Germany as a member of the PGA of Germany, then—following a 2022 transatlantic move with his wife and sons Joel and Theo—to the high desert fairways of Central Oregon.
Since joining Broken Top Club in Bend, Steve has become the region’s go-to for ground-force mastery. Armed with TPI and BioSwing Dynamics certifications, plus a German degree in sport science and education, he deploys S2M force plates, TrackMan data, and on-course drills to teach golfers how to load and explode vertically.
Whether curing a slice for the weekend warrior, guiding juniors toward county honours, or fine-tuning scratch players, Steve’s mantra remains: “Better golf begins with better understanding.”
Book a session at Broken Top Club and let Steve help you turn effort into distance—on the course and beyond.
